Terra vista is a documentary book, which includes a travel diary with texts and photographs about the lighthouses on the coast of Rio de Janeiro. From São Francisco de Itabapoana to Paraty, its authors record some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the state of Rio de Janeiro, where lighthouses meet, but also turn to the architectural legacy of the cities visited.
During this journey towards the lighthouses, the coast and its inhabitants gain increasing prominence, showing the relationship that sailors establish with the sea, as well as their traditions and personal stories, constituents of the human and cultural fabric of the region.
